In the digital era, internet celebrities and self-media creators not only gain public exposure but may also earn substantial income. As all income is subject to taxation, such earnings may give rise to tax-related issues.
In response, Ms. Pin Huang, Attorney-at-Law and CPA of the Firm, contributed an article to the January 2025 issue of the “Money 錢” magazine, outlining the tax implications of eight major types of income commonly earned by internet influencers and their corresponding classifications under the Income Tax Act.
